White Buffalo Stone
This rare, beautiful white stone with black matrix sometimes blotched or spider webbed is mined in only one place on earth: Tonopah, Nevada. The Ottesen’s, who own the mine, were able to name the newly discovered stone in 1993. White Buffalo Stone is opalized calcite and quartz with black chert.

Kevin Ramone is a Navajo silversmith, he was born in 1986, he grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a teenager Kevin started apprenticing under his mother Geneva Ramone. Geneva is a very talented and well-known artist who has been silversmithing since she was 15. Over the years Kevin has become a very talented silversmith himself. He has become a master of stamp work design and incorporates it into many of his pieces. He has made and continues to make a variety of items including- bracelets, rings, earrings, bolos, pendants, and neckwear. Kevin has incorporated nice stones (turquoise, etc.) in many of the pieces he has made over the years. Kevin’s work has been and will continue to be admired and collected by people all over the world.
